@capacrapa saidFrom the article you referenced:
Those cops should quit.
They definitely feel like cowards right now 😄
That isn't the first time cops have stood around doing nothing.
Now look at it this way...those cops wouldn't go in but if a cop was already in there or a trained teacher then they are more likely to engage the suspect because they would have to or die.
Yes, some kid may get hit accidentally but ...[text shortened]...

Gun laws in America are much more loose than gun laws in Israel."
@kellyjay saidWhy doesn’t that happen in any of the other countries with stricter gun laws like Israel?
Good guys with guns stop bad guys with guns all of the time; it doesn't make
frontpage news, nonetheless, it occurs. The fear of good guys with guns once
removed allows bad guys with guns to use their guns with next to no concern
about consequences, because then the good guys with guns show up with lights
flashing and sirens so they know who could end their sorry lives; with that fear
removed the rest of the population are all easy pickings.
@athousandyoung saidIsrael is a fascist apartheid state. It's not a good example for anything

Israel, there were people all over the place (military) packing weapons, all the
eighteen-year-olds are in the military trained with weapons; the nation is weaponized.
The culture there is quite different than the US; for one more and more, all that is
going on in the news is how some segment of society is out to get another. These
want to take away your vote, these want to take away your rights, these wants
lawlessness, these want ad nauseam it no longer is one nation under God; it is one
a nation filled with victims, with some making a profit out of it all, and others
getting a little more hateful as the days grow long, feeling quite justified in their
hate.
Sadly some hate others for something so badly they end up turning into the very
thing they claim to hate.
@kellyjay saidWhy are you avoiding my question? Typical KJ. Do you think the USA should adopt Israeli gun laws? Maybe you think every 18 year old should carry an assault rifle at all times?

@athousandyoung saidNo, I do not; I think we should not lessen life in the eyes of everyone from conception

to the grave, we should not glorify vigilante justice over the justice system; we should
not let the guilty go free while attempting to punish the law bidding; we should not
punish law enforcement for the actions of criminals when they are doing their jobs.
When they are not doing their jobs but doing something wrong, they should be
held accountable like all others.

When I asked you that you brought up how every 18 year old carried an assault rifle. Why did you mention that if that isn't the solution to mass school shootings?
Don't bother responding. I know your response won't be an answer or have any content at all.
@athousandyoung saidI gave you an answer both times, not to your liking, or not what you wanted to see,

so be it.
@AThousandYoung
There are guns everywhere in Israel, people doing their time in the military carry their weapon everywhere. You see them on the beach, my first bus trip in Israel sitting beside a sleeping soldier their gun resting against my leg, an unforgettable experience for a young NZer but everyday life there.
(volunteer on a kibbutz when hussein sent some missiles over. heard the sonic boom of fighters passing through speed of sound, they had drills and handed out gas masks to members on the kibbutz. Volunteers? look after yourself haha)
@shavixmir saidOf course, we would be the first country you fellers would call if you got an attack from the Vikings to the north, or from any other country.
The US is a banana republic and half the population are morons.
Unbelievable. What a bloody train wreck of a nation.
How 'bout we shut down a few welfare programs and use the money to put guards in every school. Guns for teachers optional. All of our rich government notables, from the WH on down, are protected. Why not our children.
Maybe Sonhouse can answer, he hasn't done any answering in several days....just preaching.
