i was saying that having guns would have made absolutely no difference. of course you know that, you just want to suggest they should have taken guns and die like manly men instead of go to the ovens. maybe so. but then again, the jews that survived the camps turned out to have made a slightly better choice than the jews in the warsaw ghetto.
if you were a jew and was gambling your life on the fact you might survive if you keep the non-combat attitude, a gun would have signed your death sentence.
the jews didn't need guns, they needed the allies to come and kick the nazis. the jews in the early days of nazism might have used the guns, but since there was no support from the police, they would have again perished, if not from the first attempt, then the second, when the nazis would simply throw molotovs in your home.
