How? The United States smashed Nazi Germany and liberated the survivors of the concentration camps.
As an aside, if anyone "smashed" the Nazis it was the Russians. Some concentration camps were liberated by the Russians, some by the US and some by the British. Your history sounds a touch selective to me.

Even the French tried fairly hard to protect their Jews, eventually giving in to trying to save only Jews of French nationality.
What would you do to save US Muslims who found themselves under similar threat in your own country?
EDIT: Many people in the concentration camps were ordinary non-Jewish citizens of the various occupied countries who had tried to hide or otherwise save the Jews. America didn´t do much to allow the immigration of European Jews and didn´t really want them.
