I imagine the price would go up the more developed the maggot, more, ummmm let's call it material, to be removed, that would be some deterrent of late term abortions anyway.

You're ok with 5 minute before birth abortions, IMO there needs to be a line that before that line a woman has a certain time frame in which to decide to have an abortion after which she commits to the birth, and there is room for debate where that line might be and also some special circumstances.
I used to be in the same camp as you two, i.e. a womans body is her own, the fetus is nothing more than a parasitical maggot, not even as advanced as an insect yet, and in the same way you might stomp on a maggot she get's to do the same on a whim.
Here's where you get to display your control freak colours. Where ever the line falls I believe the woman may procure the services of anyone who wants to call themselves an abortionist, if they (the woman and the abortionist) agree to use a twisted coat hanger to tear the thing out, (I think there's some scraping involved too) then that's "THE WOMANS CHOICE" (as screwy suzi might so eloquently put it)
