@AverageJoe1
Well interest rates aside, I compare my mortgage to the rents around here, near 1800 a month for my son and his family for just a 3 bedroom apartment AND the bitch landlady charges 10% PER DAY for late payments.

If and when we actually lose our democracy and Trump pronounces himself king, you will come out just fine since you are already rich, that is the ONLY class Trump listens to so you will fit in quite nicely in the new US banana republic, you know, the one where Trump kills Nato and WW3 starts up the next day, where China's leaders are dancing in the street because an incompetent boob like Trump is back in power and they know EXACTLY how to control his brain.

No no no….as usual you reconstruct a post. Your post above is about 70000 under Trump like it was hell already. No, it is hell now, WGrass. You might reread. 70000 vs 200,000 (in just 20 days this month) All you fellers having me explain a bit too much.
As a sidenote, why in the hell do you people continue to defend Biden, and his wide open border policy to al ...[text shortened]... ese people to come in without passports? Without vetting? sorry, I did not mean to get carried away.
How is immigration hell?

There have been times in America's past where the normal amount of immigration was a higher percentage of the population than it is now.

Why is immigration now "hell" all of a sudden? I guess for racists, any amount would be hell. Is that what it is? "America for Americans"? Why are you guys such selfish bastards?

Again, for the slow ones. The border is not "open". It is against the law to cross illegally. Open borders is a EU thing, and it seems to be working, even with the language issues. Probably because people there generally speak more than one language because they aren't involved in a fever dream where "We're Number 1!" is a real "thing".

What in the hell are you Republicans afraid of, and who told you that you have to be afraid?

You're being conned. Again.

Mtg payments increased since 2020 from $977 to $2309 after Biden took over.
Is this ‘what reality knows”. ,Mr. Grass. Why don’t you end the year on an honest statement that, yes, average Joe, cost-of-living has skyrocketed due to policies of the Biden presidency.
Be a man. Like Suzianne. Ha, it rhymes.
“Be a man…
Like Suzianne!”

STFU.

Ass hole.

My mortgage payments are around $1000, after insurance. If your mortgage payments are too high for you, that is an issue for you. You should be more prudent with your money.

Don't blame Biden because you can't live within your means.

I don't want you get to shocked with trying to answer this question, but why has Biden not tried to fix it? The Border? The invasion at the Border? Caused by Trump?
The headlines about the border in the OP were from 2018.

- border at a breaking point with record numbers of families crossing illegally.

- migrants caravan over 7000 headed for the US.

- 70,000 a month estimated crossings...

The date ??? 2018.

Did the MAGA cult blame trump? No. Because Republicans are not interested in solutions.

Even now, they think it's an imminent crisis and blame Xiden. But they sent everyone ...[text shortened]... ay? Why did Republicans send everyone home on vacation for 3 weeks?

I'm working. Why aren't they?
70,000 a month. OK, I will go along with that, under Trump. That is 840,000 a year. That is quite OK. What is your point?

The impact of unbridled immigration takes a huge toll on the country.
It has been in the news. As to your reference to times in America's past, we are talking about the numbers now. The administration is actually cutting the Barbwire to allow more of them to come in.

Please tell us where we are selfish?

The border is open. You write about the EU and times in America's past. None of this is relevant.

Horse wash revisionist history. It was his only campaign issue. He promised to fix it. He was voted in to fix it. He made it worse before he left office.

You want him back in so he can continue to make it worse.

Wildgrass, I want him back in so that he will DO SOMETHING.
What Biden does is talk about Trump. and oh, saving democracy. He does not SAY that he is going to DO anything,, and oh, he does NOT do anything.
Am I missing something? What is he doing about the border crisis. Someone here, maybe you, says there is no crisis.
What I just wrote is Total Fact.
What you wrote is an opinion. (that he made it worse before he left office). Many smart educated people say he did not make it worse.
So you opine, hogwash, and I present a simple fact. Did Biden cut the barbwire? Yes, a fact. Will it allow more illegals to break our law and enter our country? Yes, a fact.
You libs with your unbased 'hogwash' are becoming quite boring.

Just a thought AVJ1, is it time the Statue of Liberty and the plaque that welcomes the huddled masses are taken down because of false advertising? Never mind the country became strong because of the diversity that sign attracted. Or is it still just a white boy invitation in the minds of many....

You keep pivoting to Xiden. These headlines are from 2018. No one thought the immigration problem was ok then.

If you pay a plumber to fix a leak, and he makes the leak worse, why rehire the same plumber?

Ellis Island welcomed 8 million people for legal entry into the US.

But when Trump was president, hundreds of thousands crossed the border illegally. Many of them went to work in the farming industry, which Trump then supported with tens of billions in extra cash.

Trump decided against implementing e-Verify to document legal employment. Trump decided to decrease internal enforcement of immigration via deportation. Trump blocked legal means of immigration, causing the system we see today. Trump decided not to pursue legislation that would fix the broken legal immigration system.

Ellis Island isn't related to what's happening now. We used to have politicians capable of solving problems. This is truly a catastrophe.
