@Ponderable saidAre you claiming nobody started it?
@Metal-Brain
Yes yxou might want to look at Glasls steps of esclation.
Normally people start with a small squabble, and one one point the escalation is so far that one feels the "first" attack and then there is the "first" retatliation. The opponent might feel this "retaliation" as "first" attack and here we are.
If we look at the Levante we have a long history of slights, smaller and biggar attacks. Question would alys be: What is the zero line?
Suzianne often "feels" I am lying when I am not. There is only one liar no matter how she feels. Feelings don't change facts.
Who started it? And how is Lebanon responsible for what Hamas did? Hamas is in Gaza. This is similar to blaming Iraq instead of Saudi Arabia for 911. None of the hijackers were Iraqi, but Bush invaded anyway and Saudi Arabia was not held responsible even though most were Saudis.
@Metal-Brain saidNo I just claim that it is impossible to find out what "started" and what was the first retaliation...

@Metal-Brain saidThis is a very unhelful hyperbole.

Depending on our scales either
* All of us are liars (that is the scale that every utterance that is factually not 100% true is a lie)
* We do have "startegic" liars. That are those who present factually correct information in a way that implies something different (e.g. by not presenting fact they know and would give a different impression)
* We have tactical liars, who will improvise something "factual" which is not
* We have the deniying liars who just can't accept any fact that is not in accordance with their presumtion and prejudice.
* We have liars who (knowingly) misquote
....
@Ponderable saidHamas started it, but Iran is not Hamas so Israel started it with Iran.
No I just claim that it is impossible to find out what "started" and what was the first retaliation...
Iran retaliated. The retaliation has ended. Multiple retaliations is a misnomer and is starting a war.
Do you support Israel starting a war with Iran? You seem like you want it to happen.
@Ponderable saidIran retaliated. That means Israel started it. Is that so hard for you to accept?
No I just claim that it is impossible to find out what "started" and what was the first retaliation...
Israel killed people in Iran. That is what started it. If you can site an example of Iran starting it go for it if you can.
@Metal-Brain saidSo when is the starting point when Israel was on good terms with Iran?

About the time the Shah still reigned?
Yes it is so hard to understand, since we need a good niveau to "start" anything.
@Metal-Brain saidYou ARE lying most of the time. You misrepresent facts constantly. You present sick mind weaves from somewhere within the depths of what you call a brain.
Suzianne often "feels" I am lying when I am not. There is only one liar no matter how she feels. Feelings don't change facts.
These are truths you cannot avoid. But you constantly gloss over them. Your logic is mostly childish. You are a stain on this very forum.
@Ponderable saidYes, when the Shah was in power relations were great.
So when is the starting point when Israel was on good terms with Iran?

Israel started it by bombing the Iran embassy in Syria killing people. The Irony is that Iran took hostages from the US embassy in Iran and that was unacceptable. Killing people in an embassy is fine if Israel does it so I guess letting them live is what is unacceptable.....if Iran does it.
