@mghrn55 saidIt’s the law. I absolutely hate waiting at red lights. But it is the law. I don’t complain about the red light, there is a reason, it is the law.
Your post makes absolutely no sense.
I'll put a simple question to you.
Why aren't you complaining about a loss of freedom when you have to remove your shoes before boarding a plane ?
Not complicated. Respond to the question.
Don’t get us started on the freedoms we ARE losing at the hands of greedy liberals.
@shavixmir saidWhat else can we do, libs have (with getting rid of police, and pesky laws, ) made it so we have to step up. I ‘spect that the aliens may be getting bussed there straight from tbe border. So THAT’s where they are being sent with their disease. The poorest of our states. Just great.
Hey, I see that Mississippi is opening up field hospitals in their garages to help treat the influx of corona patients.
Leaving it all up to the individual is really working out!
@shavixmir saidOpening up extra hospital space is the thing to do. By doing this you keep room in hospitals.

Of course if we had a public awareness campaign making people aware of the need for vitamin D consumption and taking care of themselves with a better dirt and exercise we would not see as many people in hospitals. I suppose someone has a reason for the spreading the lie that a vaccine shot is the only solution. Funny how some governments like to push their final solution.
@eladar saidAmen. I am on such a course, add Vitamin C and Zinc to that diet. Exercise is important. Trying to think of how to attach a monitor to my visor while I am running, to keep up with Sonhouse's missives.

@metal-brain saidmRNA is a part of a micro-organism.
No.
Gene vaccines do NOT contain attenuated microorganisms. They contain mRNA.
@wildgrass It actually is not a part of a micro organism. It is a part of a gene sequence where the human cells produce the spike protein that the micro organism has so the immune system will target it. The immune system kills the human cell which took in the gene as it would the virus and the immune system can then identify the spike protein of the actual virus. It is gene therapy for the immune system. Not a bad idea on the surface, but the risks of the spike protein causing blood clots in the body are real and nobody knows long term effects. Novavax is coming out and does have muted virus parts like a conventional vaccine. This may help get more people vaccinated that have problems with the mrna jabs. Of course there are other effective means to protect yourself from Covid. The CDC or WHO will not push for testing because big pharma has them in their hip pocket, but several countries have tested Ivermectin and have positive results. The WHO is eyeing protecting Ivermectin from Covid use so supplies will not be used up. Some parts of the world use it for worm, scabies, etc... The interesting thing is that they said they want to stop the use for Covid even if it is proven effective. They didn't say they would push for increasing supply of the cheap and easy to make Ivermectin. Very telling indeed!
@joe-beyser saidNo. It makes no difference what produces the spike protein. A viral particle contains mRNA. Therefore, mRNA is a part of a virus and the vaccine is an attenuated, non-infectious version of that virus.

Regarding gene therapy, this vaccine does not fit the classical definition of gene therapy which requires permanent changes made to DNA. It does fit the alternative definition that metal brain came up with. But keep in mind if we're going with the "gene therapy is any biomolecule produced in a lab" then lots and lots of very commonly used drugs meet that definition.
@averagejoe1 said1905 Joe. That's when it was determined that vaccine mandates were constitutionally justifiable. Just like that, our freedom to get infected with smallpox went away.

@wildgrass If you want to say the part of the rna that is being used is part of the virus it is ok by me as long as you realize it is completely different than what attenuated viruses are. You are right on the gene therapy except that the only reason it isn't permanent is that the immune system kills the cells that took in the rna. They are hoping that the immune system will have a long memory for the spike protein. So it is modifying human cells genetically for a positive outcome for the immune system. This action is supposed to take place in the deltoid muscle but as yet no one has come up with a way to inject it and be 100 percent sure it does not get into the blood stream. When that happens the cells in the vascular system will produce the spike protein anywhere in the body and cause clotting. This is bad because now you have it around the body in places the real virus does not go.
@wildgrass saidGovernment. Here is the first sentence from the Abstract.
lol where'd you learn biology?
"Gene vaccines are a new approach to immunization and immunotherapy in which, rather than a live or inactivated organism (or a subunit thereof), one or more genes that encode proteins of the pathogen are delivered."

Now you are lying.
It does NOT have to make permanent changes to DNA. I proved this to you on a thread you created with another government website, the FDA. In fact, I proved on other threads as well.

@metal-brain saidRight. That just means that insulin is also gene therapy.
