You are right, however. A change can be made, either by overturning this ancient SCOTUS decision or constitutional amendment ratification. Maybe some smart news show lawyer will figure it all out. Makes you wonder why they are blabbering on news shows and not lawyering eh?
Although that doesn't change the fact that our constitution, currently, grants governments with the authority to mandate vaccinations explicitly written in a US Supreme Court case decision, a decision that has held for over 100 years.

The true pathetic fact is that nobody would have considered using the power of government to force an entire nation of individuals tho take a vaccine, especially an experimental vaccine, until now.
Notice one of the court cases said a state, not the federal government can mandate a vaccine, even though it was a city that was doing it.
Funny how liberals believe that the constitution gives the power of local governments to the federal.
Liberals reject the idea of a Republic where the federal government does not control the state and local governments.
