A vaccine prevents the spread of a virus until herd immunity is reached. Gene vaccines do neither. That makes it a treatment no more effective than HCQ or ivermectin.
Pfizer is working on another treatment in pill form even though HCQ is proven safe and effective because there is little money to be made with HCQ. If they want to rake in the big money they need a new patent protected drug so that is what they are doing.
You underestimate how corrupt big pharma is. People are going to Tractor Supply to buy ivermectin intended for de-worming horses in increasing numbers. This is the result of the corrupt influence of big pharma.
You are letting politics influence your opinion about science and medicine. Just because Trump recommended HCQ you have to oppose it for purely partisan reasons. You are letting politics get in the way of good judgement. Even a jerk can be right sometimes and Trump was right about HCQ.

It has never come close to achieving "herd immunity" in the US from the flu.
Therefore, it isn't a vaccine.

I have heard many people claim the flu vaccine gave them the flu. The flu vaccine is nothing like the covid vaccines.
