It’s the lib states that foot the bills so leave them to spend their money the way they want to. You conservatives should go south and create your own little tax haven and interbreed yourselves back into the early hominids that you clearly want to be, you could have your own little patch of mud to play in with no government to worry about and own as many spears as there are other hominids to throw them at. Thus leaving the human race to forge ahead with important stuff like saving the planet and colonising the galaxy.

Ramping up bureaucratic inspections of green cards at construction sites and fruit orchards and packing plants doesn't get people excited. Building a wall to stop an 'invasion' does.
I keep wondering why interior immigration enforcement went down so dramatically under the Trump administration. I don't see any other explanation except that he was preserving the key Republican farmer voter by not deporting their illegal employees.
We know where they live and work. And we had a president who pretended to care about enforcement but took it in the opposite direction. At least Biden is honest about it.
