@e4e5f4d5 saidAnd starring in "Driving Miss Daisy", is black man, Morgan Freeman.
I believe you but I was just making a point.
History should be taught without mentioning the race as a symbol of importance.
If we do that and we do it equally and fair then whites would dominate.
His name was Lewis Latimer.
Not Lewis Latimer a black man.
Remove the labels and we grow.
Remove the labels and we eliminate excuses for success or failure.
Morgan Freeman and Denzel Washington say it best.
Find your own links for those two.
hmmmm, ya, that's just a bit tacky. I agree!
@e4e5f4d5 saidNo. Teaching kids "what people of color did" fights racism and teaches kids that black people aren't inferior and that they do have value and that regardless what society is teaching them, their lives DO matter.
Edison invented the lightbulb and Latimer improved on it.
Edison, a white man, invented the lightbulb and Latimer, a black man, improved on it.
Leave colour out of it or people of all races and colours will expect the same treatment.
Magnus Carlsen, a white man, is the world chess champion.
No chess champion was ever black.
See how ridiculous it can get?
Teachi ...[text shortened]... hat "people of colour did" gives people the impression they are inferior because they are of colour.

They consider everyone equally until victimhood teaching sets in.
(Obviously racist parents could affect their upbringing but that is beside the point)

You saying a black driver is a slave?
Edit: I am not entirely sure what you are saying.
Please clarify.
(Seriously...I value your opinion and I am curious if you are with me or against me.)
@e4e5f4d5 saidThis is loaded with so much "white privilege", no wonder you are blind.
Stirring the crap pot creates stink.
We all have the option to finish highschool.
If we are too poor for college you blame your parents not another race.
If we are not smart enough to succeed you blame yourself not another race.
Black kids who I went to school with are doing WAY BETTER THAN ME.
So who do I get to blame?
Myself.
Teach "people of colour"...as yo ...[text shortened]... uccessful white families their is someone way back who sacrificed his/her life to start the process.
@e4e5f4d5 saidBefore going to school, most kids believe what their parents have been telling them. Schools are the answer to that ignorance.
