The proof in that is the latest vote to stop the shutdown of the government, haggling and Musk intervening with the vote, had some 30 house members ready to vote the way he wanted, which was Musk WANTED to have the government shut down and said so on his stupid Tweeter thing.

The house members finally grew some balls and voted against what Musk wanted.

That is how far out in left field the republican party is right now.
They just about refuse to do any dickering with democrats and it shows, not much gets done in as hostile the atmosphere is and has been ever since Newt Gingrich told them to view democrats as the enemy.

Till Newt (PERFECT NAME) Gingrich Dems and Repubs were just opponents NOT enemies and previous administrations would have dems and repubs arguing loudly and such but BOTH parties realized they were actually working for their constituents and came up with compromises and got bills passed.
Now it is your assshole repubs are refusing to even TALK with dems unless the situation is dire like the coming closedown of government, stuff like that is just about the only way repubs will deign to talk to dems.
THAT IS NOT GOOD GOVERNING. That is BULLPUCKY, if they want bills passed they better be talking to Dems because right now the repubs are fighting amongst each other with Musk trying to be president and arguing and threatening to get bills passed. Tell me, how many times in US history has THAT happened? I say ZERO. Musk is a maniac who wants to be in charge of all the US government but Trump is trying to beat him to the punch to see who is the first one to be dictator.
