@mott-the-hoople saidhe teaches a class on this stuff. Expert. no way I could debate like that, the whole fun is throwing a point right back 'atya. What could possibly be gained to just go off Into the blue. Of course, being up Trump may be the worst transgression, but there is lot of it.
so the subject is libs supported by dems burning US cities and you jump to worldwide? LOL moving goal posts much?
Really, no one knows who you are. Why not put it all out there?
@averagejoe1 saidStop gaslighting. The rich do NOT pay over 50% of their income to the IRS. That's ridiculous.
No, you have to Mind the Mob. Like in Suzianne’s post re Atlas Shrugged. Dagny Taggart wants to do her own thing. But, libs hound her to do their thing.
Does that even make sense? Remember we are bantering with people who say rich people should pay their fair share (they already pay over 50%… That in itself does not sound very fair )….but libs never say what that shou ...[text shortened]... y 40% , and I pay 50 or 60%, that is not fair to me. They must chew the hell out of their pillows.
@mott-the-hoople saidThis is turning into another chapter of the Republican's Big Book of Fairy Tales.

@contenchess saidThe jury hasn't indicated they are deadlocked.
It's a hung jury.
I bet there is one juror saying guilty.
Do they switch out a juror when that happens?
No, you don't replace a juror just because he disagrees with the majority.
@no1marauder saidMaybe in Trump's Amerika they would.
The jury hasn't indicated they are deadlocked.

@contenchess saidHaven’t you seen Twelve Angry Men?

@contenchess saidIn the middle of deliberations?
They can be removed due to misconduct or bias.
I just looked it up.
@no1marauder saidApparently yes.
In the middle of deliberations?
Some Law website explaining how one juror can be biased and stubborn thus removed.
Jurors are just regular people. I'm sure their has been many occasions where a juror just picks a verdict based on biased emotions.
If they refuse to deliberate and they are just plain biased and stubborn.
But no they can't be removed just because it's 11-1 or a hung jury.
@contenchess saidIn my State (NY), they dismiss the alternates right before deliberations start and a verdict requires 12 jurors in a felony case. So if a juror was removed during deliberations, you'd have a mistrial.
Apparently yes.

@no1marauder
I don't know what Wisconsin does with the alternates.
I just looked at the charges again.
1st degree murder means premeditated does it not?
He didn't premeditate anything. So shouldn't it be 2nd degree murder?
Same thing happened with the Casey Anthony case. She got away with murder because they charged her with 1st degree and not 2nd degree.
@contenchess saidRittenhouse's top charge is 1st degree Reckless Homicide, which doesn't require premediation or even intent but merely causing death with utter disregard for human life. Plus there are lesser included charges here.
