As to Kilgore's Hitler comment, prove to me that he was being serious (as opposed to joking).

Two conclusions come from this part of the thread:

1. You do believe that if the citation is accurate and sincere, then it is a significant stain on KT15. Otherwise you would not be so incredulous.
2. You obvious resistance to evidence means that convincing you would mean nothing.

I'm saying that many-party systems disintegrate into petty squabbling where no one is in clear control and a fruitcake like Hitler can gain control with a minority of the population behind him.
I'm not wild about the two party system, but at least it would take half the population to be insane and elect a Hitler and keep him in power.

It doesn't seem like Kilgore admired Hitler in the above posts, which were published before the "Great Man with the Great Plan" post. Again, prove to me that Kilgore was being serious in the "Great Man with the Great Plan" post.
