I have owned guns for years now and never used them in any violent way. I teach my children to be safe with them and that they are not toys. I also do not blame others for my problems.
If this is not enough for you then you are too blind to see and are set in your ways. You rather have everyone scared of guns and living as slaves to the government and to the criminals.

It is extremely rude for you to try to put those hateful and disgusting terms into my mouth, even using quote marks as if I had penned them myself! If you have any decency at all you would apologize for that, but I won't hold my breath.
Furthermore, no matter how crude and violent you may find American society, the people who are the subject of the article, i.e. concealed carry permit holders who have all submitted themselves for training and background checks, are not the ones causing that violence. In fact, they are all statistically less likely to commit a crime than you are.

A permit tells nothing about a person, other than a government seal that say "permit to carry a gun" (and shoot it). The best way to avoid somebody shooting a gun is... surprise! Having no guns!
