To go into law, the Senate has to pass it. They should take out the tax cuts and then add the Medicaid cuts back in, and when the Trumpers scream, say FU, pass it or don't.

Gutting Medicare to the tune of half a TRILLION.
THAT is why I fear my wife will be kicked off, she is in poor heath and needs medicare, been in hospital more times than I can count and if she is kicked off she may LITERALLY die.

I am first to say that I have representives to handle these matters, and although everyone including me has empathy regarding those affected by changes, I am a long-range thinker,, knowing we have to crack eggs to make an omelette.
Or, as you seem to want,, think only about the NOW, just let things wander along until it all goes broke. It is not about me, or any one person, or any specific circumstance. It is about MAGA, and we are just cranking it all up.
The representatives I mention have studied all this, I have not, sko cannot pretend to know the good and the bad....i just kknow we need change, and there is no one in authority but these legislators.
I cannot IMAGINE sitting aound nitpicking and second-guessing these guys who stay up 24/7 figuring it all out. Don't get mad at me, call your Reps!!!!

Exactly what representatives are going to stop the gutting of Medicaid? or Snap? Or Medicare? the Zombies have hated ALL those programs for DECADES. Kill ANYTHING where common folk get a PENNY from the feds. So cutting out some 13 MILLION from health insurance is a good thing and needed, those cracked eggs.
Like FEMA, already in trouble because of the massive fires, earthquakes, floods, hurricanes and tornado's and we are entering hurricane season so how many people will die THIS time?
Killing USAID has already killed 150,000 starving children and lack of meds the US supplied to keep kids alive but do YOU give a rats ass? I doubt it very seriously, I doubt you put any thought into the consequences of killing USAID at all.

Sonhouse...these things are not easy. I hope that our citizens have been self reliant so that they can tighten up here an there until things turn around. And, they have already begun to turn around. MSNBC will tell you differently. So, ask yourself, should you get on the train of the positive networks, who are on the case? I wouldn't count on the Senate "shredding" it or restoring the Medicaid cuts.

Cynically, the Medicaid cuts won't go into effect until December 2026 which apparently coincidentally, is a month after the midterms.
