@moonbus saidIndeed, unfortunately.
Exactly the same could be said about government in general.
It seems that any channel used to help people could be used to use them.
We hope the good outweighs the bad. With swift punishment levied on the users. But proving it is often the slow down. The wheels of justice and all.
But we can't refuse to help the ones in need because of a few bad apples. Culling those out should be a priority.
This kind of thing is why the right tends to want to refuse to help people, because some might try to game the system. Funny that they aren't concerned in ferreting out the users, just punishing all for the actions of a few. I guess that's easier.

@AThousandYoung saidThis is exactly why, when Trump took office, I was expecting boxcars full of immigrants (as well as a few citizens caught up in the madness) heading to the border.
If you listen to what the Germans were saying, Jews were a foreign culture without loyalty to their home country of Germany who were actively destroying the German economy with a one two punch - capitalist Jews manipulating markets for their own benefit to Germany's detriment while Communist Jews were trying to overthrow the German government in the name of Communism. ...[text shortened]... olfsheim]zce7hUqxSjM[/youtube]

@Suzianne saidAnd yet, one of the reasons why some people support Trump, and even continue to do so despite his poor record on 'it's the economy, stupid!', is that they admire his ability to game a system they deeply despise. And when his comeuppance finally comes, they'll blame the system, not Trump.

@Rajk999 saidYet you love Cliff's propaganda because it supports your bias.
Not going look through that, neither do I post these Youtube videos expecting people to wade through these things to get answers for simple questions. It shows arrogance on your part and a lack of respect for posters. I post enough information for people to read to understand my position. Thanks anyhow.
@moonbus saidExactly.

Led by a carnival barker for his own benefit, not theirs, they cannot see the irony of their support for the billionaire.
Because, just like the snake-oil salesman gets rich off the people who trust him, they love the product he sells. But he's not selling re-bottled alcohol jacked up in price. He's selling Hate by the bushel. And they eat it up.
This is the basis of what is wrong with America right now.
@moonbus saidWell done. I had heard of this, but never took the time to fully explore the concept.
What's wrong with America can be summed up in one word: ressentiment. [correctly mis-spelt]

It totally explains the "Sturm und Drang" we find ourselves in now.
@Suzianne saidYup, and Trump is deliberately stoking this ressentiment for his own personal gain. As it happens, the religious right-wing is especially susceptible to this ploy, because it fits their prior narrative. It's religion in the service of delusional values.

Go to amazon.com and search on "Trump the messiah" --it's become an industry unto itself.
@moonbus saidOh, yes, and people like the Kirks made bank off of that.

@YEAH-BOY saidYou really are a damn fool. Does that cancel the 11 innocent people these Muslim goatf..kers killed?
