On a side-topic, it was interesting to learn recently that T&T are just off the coast of Venezuela instead of vaguely in the middle of the Atlantic, as I had previously imagined (sorry for my poor geography).
As for me, a Venezuelan medical student once treated me to a steak and wine dinner and I have relatives in Brazil.
I don't know what to do about Trump. Too bad (and incredible) that the other two branches of our so-called government haven't been keeping him more in check.
Maybe it will come down to something like some brave people saying, "This is the dirt that jackass Trump has on me, but what he is doing to our country is far worse."

Obsessions ? Check out the Bondi Beach shooting. Two goatfu..kers killed 11 Aussies, and 30 or so in hospital. Muslims are an evil bunch that needs to be cleansed.
This does not ease the grief these people are feeling over this madness.
As an aside, my apologies to the Aussie people. I know you haven't seen killing like this since Port Arthur and your leaders took the right steps then to stop it before it really got started, but this madness seemed hell bent to arrive on your shores despite your best efforts to forestall it. I understand the shared grief. My heart goes out to your countrymen, especially the families of those affected by this tragedy.
