When he unilaterally pulled the US out of the Iran nuclear deal forged by Obama (that they were complying with), he gave Iran the green light to bring back the centrifuges to enrich uranium to create nuclear weapons.
Therefore, Trump has been actively encouraging Iran's nuclear program. Blame him.

He made a deal with Iran to end their nuclear weapons programme, in exchange for ending trade and other sanctions, and releasing over $100,000,000,000 US, in frozen assets. That JCPOA was the most foolish deal Obama made...
- You dont negotiate with terrorists. They do not keep their word.
- Iran took the $100 Billion, enjoyed zero sanctions, and secretly continued on with their nuclear weapons programme.
- Common sense should tell you that an oil/gas rich state would not need a nuclear programme, except for weapons.
- No other Arab mid-east state has a nuclear programme.
- Iran has stated clearly many times they will destroy Israel.
Thankfully, because of Trump and Israel, sanctions are back in place, and Iran is under control.

The United Arab Emirates has an operating nuclear plant with four reactors compared to Iran's one that has been operational since 2019.
Saudi Arabia has announced plans to develop nuclear power plants with three times the capacity of the UAE.
