@no1marauder saidbet you will do what he says 😉
A President is an elected official who the People (indirectly through the EC) allow to run the Executive Branch of their Federal Government for a temporary period of time.
That doesn't make him/her anybody's lord and/or master no matter what servile right wingers believe.
@Mott-The-Hoople saidI'm not a bootlicker like you and the right wingers here.
bet you will do what he says 😉
I'll do what my moral conscience dictates.

You ultrarightwingnuts saying the entire DOJ system was corrupt when charging Trump with all the crap he did,
but if it was ANY democrat with the same charges, OFF WITH HIS FUUKING HEAD.
And you know THAT full well too but are too much of a weak coward to ever admit it.

@Mott-The-Hoople saidA successful appeal to the First Department Appellate Division, which is where criminal convictions from NY County go, is normally a long shot:
this will be overturned on appeal, no amount of wishful thinking from you perverts will change that. Deal with it, its over, Trump is now your master and he dont go for the freaky shyt.
"In recent years, the Appellate Division, First Department, has reversed appeals from criminal convictions in only about 4 to 6 percent of cases."

So it's possible, but not something you and the other sycophants should count on.
@Mott-The-Hoople saidIt just proves you think Trump is literally above the law.
like shathouse now, creating imaginary things to appear right
Teflon lame Donald Duck.
I also have no doubt you HOPE Trump will make himself into a dictator.
@no1marauder saidDoes that mean he can never be recharged with those crimes? Is it now saying Trump is above the law no matter when the crimes were committed?
Judge Marchan did a fine job in pre-trial proceedings and at the trial in May where Trump was found guilty of 34 counts of a felony offense. But his post-trial actions have been filled with errors based on too little respect for the law and too much deference to the convicted criminal in the case.
Trump should have been sentenced in September. Marchan taking into accou ...[text shortened]... n sentence is not viable, then Trump should at least receive a hefty fine and a period of probation.
I thought the charges were dismissed without prejudice which I thought meant in say 2029 no longer POTUS, the case can be reopened.
Is that no longer the case?
And what about other state charges. Oh, maybe I was thinking about the docs case in Florida.
Is it still possible he can be charged with ANYTHING now that SCOTUS has given him near infinite immunity, even in 2029 assuming he doesn't work it so he can call himself King Trump.......
To repeat' Trump doesn't deserve an unconditional discharge:
" A study by the New York Times found that of 30 convictions for falsifying business records in Manhattan in the last decade, no other defendant received an unconditional discharge. All but five received sentences such as jail and prison time, probation and fines; some who entered into plea deals received sentences involving specific conditions, such as paying restitution or completing community service."

Donald Trump should not be treated uniquely and unlike any other convicted criminal.
@no1marauder saidIs this the hush money case? I see in the papers Friday he is being sentenced in that case. Is that out the window now? He seems to be trying to appeal to SCOTUS to reverse the sentencing because he is President ELECT, which means he is still a civilian so it appears to me but he wants SCOTUS to kill that because he is president ELECT.

I guess SCOTUS is so corrupt they will fall over and play dead, saving Trumps sorry ass once again when you or I or Average Joe would have been in prison YEARS ago for the same crimes. But Teflon Don seems to be LITERALLY above the law.
Our founding fathers would be turning over in their graves now.
And the pitiful 'defense' puked out by Average Joe and others,. the COURTS are corrupt and that would apply to the jury picked by prosecution AND defense.
So the JURY is also corrupt.
I wonder why there is no investigation on just how much money passed hands to the jury to call that POS Trump guilty of 34 felonies?
@sonhouse saidTrue, this SCOTUS is a particularly lawless court, but it is utterly unheard of for the Court to intervene in a sentencing after conviction in a State criminal case.

@no1marauder saidSo the slap on the wrist will proceed.

@sonhouse saidIf it makes you feel any better, Trump is frantically trying to prevent the sentencing after which he will be a convicted felon for every legal purpose. That will be true even if Judge Marchan unwisely grants an unconditional discharge (there is no requirement he do so regardless of what he said at the last court appearance).
So the slap on the wrist will proceed.
@sonhouse saidThey'll probably stop saying the courts are corrupt when Trump gets off with nothing more than confirmation that he is a convicted felon, and they'll just ignore that.

Nixon was all "law and order" until he got caught, then all his previous rhetoric did for him was leave him no choice but to resign, lest he appear even more hypocritical than he was. Remember "I am not a crook"?
With all the Trump judges in place, added to all the new ones he'll appoint, added to the corruption on the Supreme Court, Trump will never, ever see jail time. Thank you, Moscow Mitch.
But the Grim Reaper is coming for him, and he can't talk his way out of that one.
@Mott-The-Hoople saidThe only thing imaginary is your idea of Trump that is in your head.

That Trump doesn't exist. Could you at least realize that before he sells our country down the river?
@Suzianne saidWAY too late for any of that.

Average Joe vociferously bitched about how Biden fuuked up stopping the war in Afghanistan but is just fine with the idea Trump said he would not rule out military action to take over Greenland, Panama and Canada.
What a fuuking hypocrite. Hypocrite is too mild a word to describe that assshole.
