Well Obama lost the debate against Romney but won the election.
There are still months to go and a lot of stuff can happen between now and then.
That doesn't excuse Biden's poor performance and it CERTAINLY does not excuse lie after lie on the stage either.
I can't describe in words how far off you are, while staying polite. Obama, at the height of his political career, with the charisma of a movie star and intelligence to back it up, "losing" against Romney is so far from the train wreck that was Biden that it can be classified as outer space.

If the DNC do not convince Biden to drop out Trump will have 4 years. 4 years of dismantling american democracy, of obliterating all the rights. He wants to replace thousands of government experts with his loyalists. Abortion? he already has a stacked supreme court but all he has to do is replace enough people at the FDA and they will declare abortion pills unsafe and therefore illegal. He can obliterate any environment initiative. He can roll back regulations.
Not even needing congress/senate. Which he will get as well if Biden stays on the ticket.

This debate had that exact purpose, to show an energic Biden who can stand up to Trump and it failed miserably. What will change from now until September when he is meant to have another debate? Will he find new energy? Will he get any better with his stance on the Palestinian genocide? Will he convince anyone he can last 2 years in office let alone 4? is your base, your "vote blue no matter who" enough to win?

if i were an american i would vote for biden over trump.
