@wildgrass saidAmerica?
More than 180 different countries are on the list of trump tariffs.
Guess which one isn't? Come on, you know the answer.
@AverageJoe1 saidMany great poets and songwriters do tend toward succinctness and universality over time, but perhaps in some cases whatever factor(s) allow me (for instance) to write in such well-punctuated, longer prosodic periods and cadences either never occurred or were squandered along the way, to everyone's great loss.

@Suzianne saidMy recommendation would be to accept what has been and what is, and to appreciate the nice things that occur every single now (or at least every few nows).

NI springs to mind as an obvious example, where there is a history of invidious discrimination, but not based on race. There could also very well be countries, for example in Asia, where a history of invidious discrimination was to the disadvantage of White people, and that de-legistlating DEI-equivalent legislation would have the opposite effect to the one Trump wants.
Trump evidently thinks he can simply dictate world policy. Negotiation, he knows nothing.
Next thing you know, he'll be dictating to foreign countries that they have to re-write their histories, too.
@moonbus saidIt was already bad enough when Trump tried to dictate to private companies what their internal policies should be during his first term.
