Never mind; you will learn the hard way

Is it just me who thinks this.
Every deal trump does has an air of blackmail to it?. It seems to always be accompanied with a threat.

The threat is just the prelude to the deal.

No disagreement here.

"All we have to fear is fear itself."

Extract - from The Sydney Morning Herald

"But at some stage they may have to face reality. As big and important as the US is, it doesn’t hold all the cards. And if prices rise and the economy slows, “Liberation Day” will come to look more like a date with disaster."

I have been saying since Trump introduced tariff's it would hurt Americans as much if not more than Canadians. Our Trade is all intergraded with parts especially for vehicles being sent back and forth across the boarder. Car alone are going to cost thousands of dollars more.

There is not such thing as American Made Cars yet anyways, it would take them years to develop. We make parts here in Canada and they Make parts in the United States and it was working out fine until Trump came up with another lame brain idea of tariff's. He said he loves that word, wait until he sees what happens.

He may have ruined long time trading partners in Canada who have fought in wars with the Americans over the years. As I have said he is slowly but surely turning the world against him, he may just have Putin left and Putin can't be trusted. I believe he is playing Trump like a fiddle.

Musk is doing what Trump told him to do. When it backfires and will it is all ready starting with People going after Musk's Tesla. Trump will just say Musk did that not me, he was in charge of that. Of course needless to say he is the one who appointed Musk to do exactly what he is doing ripping apart the government and agencies. They both LOVE firing people! I think Trump still believes he is on his T.V. show the Apprentice.

I foresee a lot of court battles in the future.

True. It's the only negotiating tactic he knows. In Trumpworld, there is only one winner, all the rest are losers and suckers, and if you don't meet his terms, he'll ruin you with spurious litigation.

Trump confuses bluster and intimidation for strength. It's one of his many character weaknesses.
