Today I saw the news about the USA's new tariffs and of course wondered, "What the hell does Trump have against VietNam?"

OK, sure, the USA's discounted tariffs are about exactly half of each other country's tariffs, with a few exceptions where it's about 10% each way.

But considering how many multinationals already have factories in VN or are considering moving production there from the PRC, I just don't get it. Especially as VN is more friendly with Russian than China.

Just musing out loud -- not asking you to solve this puzzle. 😉
