@Mott-The-Hoople saidNo. A police officer should be trained to handle an arrest specifically if it is one person with bare hands.
you use hindsight to fault the police officers. this is a situation that a slit second can determine life or death for a police officer.
I can tell you how to prevent this happening again.
dont go to an event to perform unlawful activities while armed.
it is ironic that the firearm he brought started the deadly chain of events that led to him being shot by an u ...[text shortened]... uy pretti woke up that morning and made a series of bad decisions... it ultimately led to his death.
@Ponderable saidYou obviously never came across innercity areas in the US, or slums in my area. You are too protected to understand criminals and what it takes to deal with them. There was a time the British only had batons and they were clobbered by criminals. I think now they have a special batch of them who are armed. In no part of the world with high criminal activity are police not armed. That is madness and suicide.
No. A police officer should be trained to handle an arrest specifically if it is one person with bare hands.
@Ponderable saidOk…tell me how the police officer determines the person is not armed?
No. A police officer should be trained to handle an arrest specifically if it is one person with bare hands.
@Rajk999 saidYes I am protected by German Police. (Competent law enforcement people who know how to deescalate and have seldom any necessity to shoot)

Yes I am protected by german gun laws.
Yes germany which is often painted by you and Mott as Islamic overrun (which it is noT9 were the murder rate is an order o magnitude below that of the USA (YEs also the mainly "red" states"
@Mott-The-Hoople saidIf three people restrict one person and both of his hands are in clear sight it is obvious.
Ok…tell me how the police officer determines the person is not armed?
So since we had the same line of discsussion with geroge Floyd If have the question how imcompetent are these "law enforcers" if they feel threatened for life by a person lying on the ground being restiricted by several people?
@Ghost-of-a-Duke saidOne thing happening is folks (like Marauder) consider allowing the illegals to stay here.
Oh the irony.
What the heck's happening to America? You are even at war with yourself.
Read that as; you import poverty, you increase poverty.
Also, we have certain people that will literally try to stop law enforcement. Turn on our news and you will see it all the time right now, but none of these people who are breaking the law when they do that, are being punished. Just for the sake of argument, tell us what you think about this… Do you think the people that impede the process of law-enforcement should be penalized or punished? I ask mostly questions that are yes or no , but I never do get yes or no coming back.
My questions are so on point that they are regarded by liberals as gotcha questions. No, no need for me to play that game, I just state a fact and ask them to respond.
Suzanne and Sunhouse are exceptions. We let them answer annnnywaaay they want to.

@Ponderable saidFor the record, the guy taking these videos were many feet away from the Action. On the other hand, the cops dragging this guy down are in the moment. In the moment means a lot of things, their blood pressure probably was up to 160 and all of their training had to go into that one moment.

Week, who were not in the moment most of us having just viewed the videos, probably cannot understand fast reaction require requirements.
@AverageJoe1 saidYet somehow the vast majority of law enforcement personnel manage to avoid shooting unarmed persons in the back of the head at point blank range.

@AverageJoe1 saidYou are wrong on this and have been informed about your misconception several times.
One thing happening is folks (like Marauder) consider allowing the illegals to stay here.
The point is due process.

@Ponderable saidNo, I do think most of what he calls "illegals" (many of whom are here legally like asylum seekers and those with TPS status) should be given a path to citizenship.

@Ponderable saidMy point stands. You do not know what goes on in a high crime area.

No, I do think most of what he calls "illegals" (many of whom are here legally like asylum seekers and those with TPS status) should be given a path to citizenship.
the president doesnt have authority to authorize tps or daca
congress has this power...dont like it, vote for those that would legally change our laws
@Ponderable saiddue process is being obstructed by liberals in mn

@no1marauder saidRight.
Yet somehow the vast majority of law enforcement personnel manage to avoid shooting unarmed persons in the back of the head at point blank range.
Are you familiar with the story of a bad apple? It probably was a bad apple, assuming he’s guilty, and he should go to jail. Is common sense just too much for you to understand. Do you have to trick up all of your responses or can you just speak straight out. Like I will ask you a question, if we import poverty, does that mean we have more poverty. You will not answer that question: you will write like sonhouse
@Ponderable saidM said they should stay because their being here and working adds to our economy, or some such.
You are wrong on this and have been informed about your misconception several times.

I think we can do just fine without them, and simply import the ones who passed our qualifications. Then they can work and add your economy.!!!
Do you agree?
Do an argument, I assume that is why you are here.
