Actually prior Presidents did have authorization from Congress to strike against those who planned, executed or aided the attacks on September 11, 2001. Whether he overstepped that authority is debatable.

Trump is a criminal who refuses to follow the law. If all the things you are parroting from right wing media were true, it should have been child's play to get Congress and the American People to support military action against Venezuela. Instead polls showed 70% of the public opposed such an idea and Trump knew Congress wouldn't approve it. So like the law breaker he has always been, he ignored the Constitution he swore to uphold.

Any oil pumped out of Venezuela soil belongs to Venezuela until it is sold. Venezuela is a sovereign nation and they own ALL of their own mineral rights. No one owned any Venezuelan oil except Venezuela. Trump lies and now you respect the lying man so much, you wanna be like him, so you lie too. NONE of it is or was our oil. But you believe the liar.
