@wildgrass saidI hate to be the one who says I told you so, but I told you so when Reagan implemented trickle down economics. I knew then it would simply make gazillions for a few people and drop everyone else off the back of the wagon.
Do you ever go outside in a busy, crowded public place and just look around at "our team"? Yikes. Its a combination of full throated morbidly obese, pompous punks with phone addictions, or you're in your pajamas at 2 in the afternoon. What the heck happened?
Your people? 74% are overweight and 43% are obese. 40% are carrying credit card debt. A Netflix subscription and a ...[text shortened]... ther America. Stop being so dumb.
Anyone want to disagree with this? America is in steep decline.
An economy can grow itself out of debt only if you actually tax the ones doing the growing. Instead, successive administrations have given the rich tax cut after tax cut after tax cut.
The 18th century separated church and state. People said it couldn’t be done. It was difficult, but absolutely necessary.
The 21st century must separate money from power. People will say it can’t be done. It will be difficult, And it is absolutely necessary.
@shavixmir saidProof ? You want proof ?! Look what the Donald eats ! What more proof do ya need, man ??
You have proof that the eating of said foods is what is distribing the signal from the stomach to the brain?
@AThousandYoung saidSo…the fruit doesn’t fall far from the tree?
20 years ago my father couldn't figure out how to get to Yahoo! Chess without detailed written instructions.

@Metal-Brain saidWell you wrote a post that , when it was about shooting a man in the back in cold blood, you turned it into an insurance issue. Remember Suzianne reads his stuff, she will not get your take on the cold-blooded issue. The forum can be a hard place.
Stop lying. He admitted he murdered him as a condition of his plea deal. You know, the plea deal that might allow him to get away with murder.
How many times did I suggest he might "get away with murder"?
Your lying is truly pathetic!
Your post:
So the super Mario look alike might get away with murdering a healthcare CEO because it is not a scam? LOL!!!
Kiss off, lib. you fellers are a mess. Hey, did you see the job report? You can het a job and get rich. money money money. And YOUR money.....not MINE anymore.
@Metal-Brain saidYes. It doesn’t say it interferes with the signal from the stomach to the brain.
The first link I posted for you says it changes your brain.
Try reading this time.
Agreed?
@wildgrass saidIt’s probably been a problem forma thousand years. Except now we have cheap enough food that people can eat as much as they want.
It's their diet, not their genetics. Genetics doesn't change in a single generation.
@moonbus saidGood post! I agree. Voodoo economics ruined society.

Why do such bad ideas persist for so long?
@Mott-The-Hoople saidThis might be your best ever RHP forum post! I love it without reservation. Some types of "progress" have dumb-ified everything to the point that we can barely be trusted with anything. So we eat too much food and walk around in pajamas all day and pretend that reality TV stars are capable of fixing our problems.
60 years ago automobile owners manuals showed you how to adjust the valves. Today they warn you not to drink the contents of the battery!
Put it in the hall of fame at least.
@shavixmir saidMaybe. I think it's more likely that people are just eating too much food. If they stopped eating too much food, then they wouldn't be morbidly obese.
It’s probably been a problem forma thousand years. Except now we have cheap enough food that people can eat as much as they want.
@wildgrass saidBecause they offer hope for a better future. Never mind that it’s false hope for 99.999999% of the population; everyone still hopes he’ll be among the 0.000001%,
Why do such bad ideas persist for so long?
@shavixmir saidNo. If eating junk food alters the brain where does the junk food go to? The stomach. And I never said the word "interfere". That was all you.

Use some common sense for once in your life. If you eat food that lacks nutrients you will hunger until you get them. Eat healthier foods and the hunger will diminish. I can eat a single egg and not be hungry for several hours.
@AverageJoe1 saidYou quoted my post I wrote that clearly says he murdered the CEO.

Are you done lying now?
@Metal-Brain saidYeah, that’s not how science, proof or chemistry works dude.

Regarding the topic of people being overweight:
1) We are not as physically active as we used to be (yes, there are exceptions, but I am talking generally),
2) Animals are fed growth hormones to make them grow bigger we eat those chickens cows etc and so ingest the growth hormones which then make us bigger,
3) The 'fast food' available has (generally) had most of the goodness processed out of it and all that is left is preservatives, not healthy at all,
4) This only applies to America from my experience; the portions are enormous.
Taking all this into account, it is not just Americans who are overweight, same applies to the UK and Australia.
