Ignorant, yes.

Funny? Don't see how.

A "little volunteer" has to match Photo IDs don't they? And people's appearances can change a lot.

As to signatures:

" The research showed that, based on the eight characteristics defined by the authors, most individuals’ handwriting changes very little over time, and that the most common change in writing occurs in line quality at an average age of 77 years. Mott, are you getting all this? The people truly do not know who he is, and he says his facial characteristics may change. Yes, different from the seventh grade to the 11th grade and maybe into his 20s but then it planes out would you not say. He is being so obtuse. He will probably say he is going to bring in his high school yearbook picture Really? And maybe they say we don’t like this photo. Well if it does not, he needs to have it done again. Oh poor boy he’ll have to do something. it does not look like you, then you will have to deal with it uh, it stands to reason that the photo has to look like him to be used to identify him. Does marauder think me an idiot ?!?!?matter of fact I would imagine the law requires a current photo.

What all this really shows is that right wingers just want to limit voter participation as much as possible. That's in keeping with hundreds of years of the movement's hostility to democracy and any attempt to expand it.

There's a certain irony that this latest attempt will fail because of the anti-democratic filibuster rule that right wingers just loved when there was a Democratic President and Congress.
No, what it really shows is that left wingers are trying to rig elections by bringing in people from Yemen, putting them in a coat and tie, and walking them into the voting precinct.
Do y’all still pay people to vote for y’all? Picking people up in the buses and handing five dollars each to each one of them, all the Black people in Atlanta will attest to that. These are the same Black people that right now are voting 78% to have photo ID. You see they know what it’s all about been there done that. Don’t want to be part of your scam.

Yes, I think you're an idiot.

Most Photo ID's don't have to be renewed for years; I don't have to get a new one with a new photo until 2030. People's appearances can change a lot in a few years.

Present some evidence that is being done.

You can't.

For the 3rd time:

no1: No, I don't support every citizen having to carry a government issued document to exercise their rights. That flips the central idea of what a government is for as declared by the Founders in the Declaration of Independence.

Notice what the first word is.
I think that we can all assume that Suzanne is missing in actions simply because of my one question, asking her how she has said on the one hand, that the people, the majority of people, should be the ones to decide policy for lack of a better word. So this election is about policy and 86% of the population want to have photo ID.
The next post from Suzanne ANNE should be her explanation about all of this or she will lose so many creds with average Joe she will flip out!!!!!
Speaking of flip, I am flipping one thread after another. I wonder what my next topic will be?

Before you go, how bout my new point that we certainly can stipulate that a photo ID has to look like the person that walks in the door. Someone like you might bring in that high school yearbook picture and demand demand to vote just to piss everybody off and be what you are..

36 States already have such laws. There's little evidence people in the other 14 States support them.

No one has taken a poll regarding the specific provisions of the SAVE Act, which are more strict than the Photo ID laws in every State and would threaten to disenfranchise millions.

Woman gets a new haircut. Some poll watcher says "this doesn't look like you". Voter disqualified.

Possible under the SAVE Act?

@no1marauder said
You forgot the part where I have to sign my name. And also I just happen to be on the list of voters in that precinct.

So what's going to happen? Somebody else is going to give my name and sign it just like I have been for almost 50 years? What happens when I walk in 10 minutes later?

Your arguments are BS.
???? This argument fails out of the gate, as you mention signing of your name when you have not even proven who you are yet. She/he will hardly hand you something to sign when they Do Not Know Who You Are, Geez and whew.

Ohhhhhhh then that changes everything. This revelation would also apply with drivers licenses.
I wonder if the traffic bureau has thought about this. They must be pulling people over all the time who look entirely different than their drivers licenses… I wonder why no state patrol officer has ever brought this to the attention of a city council.; your talents are being wasted on the forum!

What a great point!!

What kind of moron are you? I give my name, they pull out my voting records from the precinct book and ask me to sign. No, they don't give me Jim Jones' page to sign; they give me [no1marauder's] to.

Do you manage to bathe yourself?

Oh God, there is that word disenfranchise, it sounds so queer to tell you the truth. Those people are no different than me. They can get a picture taken, and I can get a picture taken.
Did you know they would be voting on the leader of the free world? They would be voting on how much money is taken from one person and given to another. I would think you would be concerned with that. I surely am.
I am quite bored with this topic let’s jump over to the Mamdani topic. I posted today as we watch his ship crash and burn. He is literally already out after 42 days begging for money and apologizing for how he got his projections mixed up. We knew that his projections were mixed up.

Yes, it is possible a brunette with long hair could show up as a redhead with short hair. They would have to be a bit of explaining or a new photo. You say that as if there is no way that they will be able to tell. Of course there is. Like I said this is getting boring.
You could do a lot of what aboutism or what ifs, etc. To which I would reply that the world is not perfect, and then we can write about the definition of perfect. This is very boring.

I'm still waiting for you to give a coherent reason why such a procedure is lacking.

Unless someone knows what precinct I live in and can fake my signature to a high degree, they can't vote in my spot. What more should be required and why?
