Surely you jest, and surely can hardly ‘forget’ all of the transgressions on both sides of the aisle.
You should be careful what you wish for, though, given that the Democrats are loaded with more liberals, and liberals are more given to dalliance with big-time freedom in the days of Haight-Ashbury, …..hippie culture, free love, psychedelics, and communal living, for g ...[text shortened]... hat it was?

@sonhouse saidI could not tell you, and I’m certainly not an expert on those people. That is your Baileywick..
Yeah, how could a semi human lesbian ever tell the truth, eh, every word a lie.
Funny how that sounds just like Trump.
Trump?
The dictator???
But , but, how could he be a dictator, (follow me here, this is throwing sarcasm back at you. I hope you get it.),,,, How could he be a dictator when……….
He screams dictator while losing court cases and elections!!
He is in the shadow, at the mercy of, term limits, and judges, saying no! 🤣
And I must have missed the part where Hitler needed voter approval!!
And, he is just like Hitler, except for elections courts and a constitution!

@no1marauder saidGo ahead and bore us with your feigning that you don’t get the nuance of his rhetoric. OK, everyone for the record, so we can move along, Robert Kennedy was addicted to drugs, and went through drug rehab rehabilitation. During all that process, he may have found himself on the bathroom floor a time or two …..when I was at my fraternity house in college I found myself on the floor from drinking too much beer. That was my choice of poison. His was a little stronger. Now, we know we have all been there sometime or the other, paid our dues, give it up marauder. Bobby used a perfect experience to introduce himself to us.

Are we not lucky that Trump had the foresight and wisdom to pick a guy with that background to be in charge of our drug problems. He would be the perfect choice. On the other hand, ,Kamala , who had no experience in anything, would not have been a good choice for defense, FAA, the budget committee, border immigration 🤣, the list goes on. You get my drift ,,she has no experience in anything, our drug czar has experience in everything.
We are fortunate that Kennedy and Trump are at the helm.

No, snorting coke off toilet seats does not qualify you for the government position in charge of health policy esp. when the lesson you got from it is "I'm not afraid of germs".

Trump has surrounded himself with a laughably incompetent group of groveling sycophants apparently because no one with any level of professional integrity wants to work under him.

You have formed an opinion that Kennedy, who knows everything that he can know without benefit of scientific or medical background, is incompetent to act as Trump’s czar to fix what he is fixing. You appeared to base your opinion on what he said, his past drug use, and driving home a humorous remark to make a further point that he ‘ has been there and done that,’ with the intent in my opinion that he would instill confidence in his listeners, that he has a handle on his life now…. he can poke fun about it. Liberals do not have one inkling about communicating in that way. BTW, many people disagree with you that he is incompetent most think that he is quite competent. It seems like I always have to say life is not perfect. In every post I make to a liberal. You write post as if everyone should think and do exactly the way you think and do. You and son house. Oh boy.
Your 2nd issue doesn’t warrant AvJoe comment.
@fornichessate removed their quoted postThe arguments against this are ignorant. You need to show ID literally for anything you do. Everyone has ID. Everyone has access to obtain ID.
@boonon saidRidiculous. I haven't taken my ID out of my wallet since I took a plane to Cincinnati last August. And millions don't have Photo ID or easy access to the type of documents required by the SAVE Act:

" Additionally, just over 1% of adult U.S. citizens do not have any form of government-issued photo identification, which amounts to nearly 2.6 million people."
". Another 12% (28.6 million) have a nonexpired license, but it does not have both their current address and current name."
Predictably, ethnic minorities, young voters and other groups who right wingers would prefer not to vote all have higher percentages of folks with such difficulties that would lead to disenfranchisement if SAVE was passed (it won't be).

We both know that there is no evidence of significant "cheating" in US elections, certainly nothing that the SAVE Act would address (36 States already have laws requiring Photo IDs for voting purposes).

You gloss over every POS thing Trump does like his two businesses shut down by the government for fraud and a 25 MILLION dollar fine for that for screwing TEENAGERS by the hundreds out of their college tuition money or the same with his so called Trump charity.
There is ZERO defense for any of that and that doesn't even TOUCH the crap he pulled in office like getting over 2 BILLION while in office.
But none of that would be ok if it were a democrat pulling all those frauds and grifts, you would be screaming to the top of your lungs, CRUCIFY THAT CRIMINAL.

Because there is no way to identify who voted.
@sonhouse saidWhat happened to biden and his drug addict son? You want to talk about grifters. What businesses did they operate other than selling out to the highest bidder?

@Mott-The-Hoople saidMy State, which does not have a Photo ID voting law (though 36 States do), knows I voted through a signature match. No one here has made a coherent argument why that shouldn't be sufficient.
“We both know that there is no evidence of significant "cheating" in US elections, ”
Because there is no way to identify who voted.
Basically, right wingers admit they have no evidence of any significant amounts of fraud in US elections, but for some reason want tens of millions of eligible voters to have to jump through additional hoops to exercise their right to vote (yep, it's a right, Mott). It's not hard to figure out why; right wingers have always opposed democracy and supported anti-democratic measures and institutions (though, ironically, the SAVE Act will be defeated because of an anti-democratic practice i.e. the Senate filibuster).
