Where ya been, sister, it's true - in the House all but one democrat voted against voter ID (214 of 215)
in a country where 84% of Americans *want* it. And you sit there defending them??
What about "democracy", Suzianne, does that have any meaning anymore?
The bill had far more than just Photo ID provisions and would have put in place more stringent requirements for that than the 36 States already requiring it.

It's a typical Republican bait and switch based on a premise most voters reject i.e. that there is massive fraud which is the only reason Trump lost in 2020. That might not be as politically advantageous to remind people of as right wingers think.

85% of voters disagree with you

They were all citizens. Good enough.
how do you know they were citizens?

State's "rights" and the filibuster; two of the right's favorite things mean this law won't pass.

Haven't seen any polling on the SAVE Act either.

you're flat out wrong.

dead people vote
non citizens vote
people vote in more than one voting district.

as an example, Michigan was shown to have 100,000 dead voters on the voter's registry that they refused to remove.

Gee, I wonder why it was so important to those wily dems

How many voted?

Guessing 0.

There's a tiny amount of what you are saying but that hardly justifies disenfranchising millions which the SAVE Act is designed to do.

states do not have a right to allow non citizens and the dead to vote

very racist of you to suggest blacks and browns are too dumb to get an ID
And you are so dumb you can't even BEGIN to visualize the actual lives of blacks and browns here. There is still suppression of civil rights for those folks but you don't care, you WANT less freedoms for blacks and browns.

None do.

"And you are so dumb you can't even BEGIN to visualize the actual lives of blacks and browns here. "

Are you saying they are too dumb to do what whites can do?

In almost all countries around the world [probably all], people are required to prove they are citizens prior to casting their vote in general elections. This is either a national ID card, a drivers licence [stating citizenship], or passport. The fact that the US is still so far behind and clowns like you keep trying to derail this from coming to pass means you are crooked.

Prove they dont...As EOT stated....over 100,000 dead voters on the rolls.

They probably wont turn up to vote.

People die and then have the temerity not to tell their local elections officials they did.
That doesn't mean they vote.

We don't have a national ID card, less than half the adult population have passports and tens of millions don't have driver's licenses.

Every State has methods to verify voter identity. This is a "solution" to a basically non-existent "problem".
