Nor secure enough; an "illegal alien" could cut off your thumb and use it to vote.

nothing in the constitution gives a right to vote. what you give are things that cannot discriminate in voting.
there are no constitutional rights granted for something that doesnt exist...there are not any federal elections.
So I guess we don't need that Electoral College, either.

Why did you never respond to this,,,,,,,but to be fair, not one liberal would, because I nail it as usual with an analogy.

50 women are members of a bridge club. They are going to meet on Saturday at noon to vote on a rule for the bridge club. They all meet, and two guys and a girl walk in that are not members of the bridge club...... they demand that they'd be allowed ...[text shortened]... ....
Should any or all of the 3 people be allowed to vote and have their votes counted in the vote?
Just stop the nonsense and try to explain to us how you got so ignorant of the US Constitution?

Are those who responded to that poll aware that this bill will disenfranchise tens of millions of voters like married woman who didn't change their name on their driver's licenses or anybody who forgot to update to a current address or etc. etc.?https://www.brennancenter.org/our-work/analysis-opinion/new-save-act-bills-would-still-block-millions-americans-voting

Democr ...[text shortened]... t another attempt by right wingers to stop millions of eligible citizens from exercising that right.
tough.

they are all aware of the cheating that is going on will largely be fixed

The "cheating" that no one has ever offered any evidence of (at least in any significant degree)?

It takes a bit more than right wing conspiracy theories to justify the disenfranchiment of millions, perhaps tens of millions, of legal US voters.

Here in Canada, you can vote in any election, whether it is federal, provincial, or municipal, if you filed a tax return beforehand. If you did that, you are automatically added to the voter's list if you are a citizen.

If you didn't, it is a simple matter to get on the voter's list by contacting the election officials and providing proof that you are a citizen. If ...[text shortened]... he simplest thing is to file a tax return every year, even if you had no income. It works very well.
OK, so you have all this process, well and good.
But you OMIT what you mean by "providing proof at the polling station". Yeah, that pesky problem,,,,,,,,which is the ENTIRE simple issue of this thread....that pesky issue. You totally omit that. But now we all familiar with how Canada creates voer lists. Just great thank you.

I never said such a thing.

You're a pathetic liar.
No, my comment is qualified with 'i think'. You libs are so hyper. Easy, man. No lie here.
So, I assume it was Wgrass or anther lefty who wants to give away our country, thus the same midneset as you, so I am not far off. I am sure it was Shav as part of that plat, but it was he and someone else.
I hereby submit for the record that it was not Marauder.

A birth certificate, passport, or documents proving you are a naturalized citizen of legal age. It's all you need. It's very easy and simple.

How about a photo, to made part of a Photo ID? Keep it simple.
I'd hate it someone had to get one to elect the Leader of the Free World, but they will be glad they did if they have to fly to their son's funeral in Borneo.
And of course, take part in electing our leader and other representatives of the USA.

So, if a huge majority wants photo ID, let us follow Suzianne's reasoning that we should "Let The People Decide"

Suzianne, I call on you now to convince your contemporaries.

So you don't recognise any of the amendments made to the 'original constitution'?

Is that your position?
