@shavixmir saidBest start rationing. "It's a very special pig!"
The brexit looks like it’s in its end game.
Unbelievably, the UK still hasn’t strikken a deal; something that is so daft I’m not even going to go into it.
But UK farmers rely on EU subsidies. They’re going to stop (no matter what sort of a deal is coughed up at the last minute). And the UK isn’t going to pay subsidies to the farmers.
Fresh food is going to be a drama ...[text shortened]... ybe invest in massive pork and chicken farms or something unpleasant).
What will the British eat?
I was driving down a country road one day and noticed a farmer walking along side the road and with him was a three legged pig. Curiosity got the best of me, I stopped the car to ask about his three legged pig..... Oh this pig is a special pig!! you see awhile back our house caught fire while we slept and this here pig broke down the door and dragged us all out to safety! That's a great story I said but that doesn't explain his missing leg? Well you see said the farmer, a pig like this you just don't eat all at once.......

@biffo-konker saidI had a Steak snd Kidney pudding for dinner just a couple nights ago. Pudding always makes me optimistic, I just can’t help myself.
Pudding? You are that optimistic?
@shavixmir saidThe UK has imported more than half of its food since the Victorian era. Prices might change, but not actual availability.

@deepthought saidI’m sure availability won’t be impacted...

@kevcvs57 saidHome made? I found it difficult to find good bought ones although Hollands puds from chip shops in the north were not bad.

Fray Bentos tinned ones don't really count but occasionally a sentimental childhood memory forces me to eat one against my will.
@biffo-konker saidNo I’m pretty sure we got them from M & S if not it would have been Tesco, very decent though.

No I don’t like the canned ones. I have made my own but their never as good as my Nan used to make. I’m not sure I could find enough family members to help me eat one of Her monster puds.
