issues that seem to ruin them for me is when people start pointing
out personal flaws in other posters. Leaving the thread to start
a personal slug fest. The threads *topics* if everyone stayed on

I'm not even attempting to point out various posters that do this,
as I believe I too do it from time to time. I believe it is a human
trait not a religious, republican, democrat trait and so on least anyone

I also believe many of the posters here have been in topics that
were outstanding too. Some times simply mixing posters that have
had a history together causes them to fall into personal insults
much quicker than they would if someone they did not know said
the same thing. So that would be that they know how to push
each other's buttons* and they do it quite well.
As far as the topic goes, I like anything that looks at foundational
views.

The whole thing about "what is the truth" you have missed . It was intended as a light-hearted reference to the exact words of Pilate, yet you contrued this as a vicious plot of animosity. If that had been said to me, I might have said "How ironic that I used the same words as Pilate and here we are talking about religion." No big deal.
