I get dismissed every time because they always send me to the DUI courts and as a science teacher I am familiar with the various technologies and methods involved. They don’t like that.
One time could be a fluke but if there is a statistically demonstrable pattern of bias then it needs to be addressed.

I’m not certain about my position btw I could be wrong for various reasons but it does seem that provable bias in the justice system should be challengable.

This thread is about 'white privilege' in America, where it is most prevalent, and where this black woman did not escape justice in her trial, as the white woman did. And this goes beyond the jury. Lindsay Clancy became a media darling, and a poster child for women's mental health inequality, long before the trial was over. The media barely covered Latarsha Sanders' trial. This is systemic racism, the mother of 'white privilege'.

Plus, it is nonsense that other countries experience NO 'white privilege'. Many girls in Africa, as well as the Caribbean, grow up wishing their skin were lighter. This is a worldwide effect, especially since America has come to dominate the world in trade. ANY society where whites and blacks are in close proximity experience SOME degree of 'white privilege' (even if it is only economic in shape). It's been this way since the colonial period. The first whites into some of these countries (even the Americas) decried that the country was 'full of savages', and they were subsequently treated that way for hundreds of years.
