@AThousandYoung saidSo class privilege, not white privilege?
Turns out the Black one had a public defender and the white one had a private lawyer.
That would explain the results. Classism not racism.
@Sleepyguy saidThat’s my verdict so far
So class privilege, not white privilege?
Our money based classism is considered acceptable and nobody should be punished for it.
Tax the rich more though
@AThousandYoung saidSame for South Korea and especially in India.
China has its own form of “white privelage” in their beauty standards at least.

And do you think that your approach to race problems *helps* the situation?
@Sleepyguy saidWhite privilege IS racial privilege combined with class privilege.
So class privilege, not white privilege?
@Earl-of-Trumps saidMore white people need to see exactly what causes white privilege and act to combat that.
Do you ever have anything positive to say ?

I cannot support the attitude that racism is anything approaching a normal reaction. I also cannot support white nationalism that has been sweeping through this country recently due to those in charge of the current political landscape in America.
TL;DR: It is what it is, but accepting that is a moral dilemma.
@Suzianne saidI keep asking, who is doing something wrong to create white privilege, and what can be done about it? It seems like you should be able to answer that, because if you can't then you are just bitching about the way things are to no end except feeding your addiction to self righteous indignation.
White privilege IS racial privilege combined with class privilege.
@Sleepyguy saidYour side of the tracks have shown they are irredeemable by decrying all things "woke" when the answer to endemic and systemic racism is to become, in a word, "woke". You can begin by showing everyone, regardless of skin color, simple respect.

White privilege is created and perpetuated, by society. But by disregarding, and indeed, disrespecting, people by skin color, is simply telegraphing to everyone that you enjoy a society which follows your lead in minimizing portions of society not like yourself. We're halfway there when we decry white nationalism, which is a forerunner and progenitor of white privilege.
And to answer your second question, very little can be done to change this unless the people who support it change. And by refusing to acknowledge it, you tell us you're definitely not willing to be part of the solution. This wisdom is completely lost on MAGA.

"who is doing something wrong to create white privilege, and what can be done about it?'
Why cant you answer that question?
@Suzianne saidThat whole post is a failure. You are making up stories. I don't respect everyone (you for example) for various reasons (stupidity, etc) but race is not one of those reasons no matter how badly you need it to be.

And "society" is not a separate entity that creates anything. Society is just another word for a large group of people. Saying that "society" created white privilege is like saying everyone did. Does that include you, Suzi? No, I think you have some subgroup in mind that you need to blame in order to feel just so awesome about yourself.
