@wajoma saidMyself, I would 'use' these people to amplify, with demonstrative evidence, the nature of aberrant humans, and show my children how unsavory people can be, and teach them how to avoid people like that.
As you've worded the so called referendum, I would vote no, there should be no ban.
I would still urge people opposed to this abuse which is the sexualisation of children, to protest these events and would attend such protests if I could.
This isn't 'story time', this isn't men dressed as women reading stories, this is 'drag queen story time'. The outlandish outfits a ...[text shortened]... that No1 and soothfast are so desperate to appear woke that they cannot condemn this for what it is.

Everybody here on the left is missing the point:
Drag queen shows have been around forever.
Got it. Nobody really cares if everyone involved is an adult.
But putting highly sexualized drag queen shows on in front of toddlers and young children of an impressionable age is totally inappropriate.
WHY don't you people see that?
OK, How about if parents showed German skat-porn to their 5 year olds all day ?
Would that be OK?

@jj-adams saidBecause they are not doing that! The children are being brought along by their parents or guardians, and well done for finding the most extreme example that you could.

You extremists cry havoc when drag artistes read fairy stories to children with the parents present. It’s so obviously part of your strategy to demonise the lgbt+ community as a whole that you lose most rational people in the first sentence.
@kevcvs57 saidIt is not 'so obviously' that. Drags have been around probably as long as dresses. It's when they use kids that is the problem. Zahloonney brains for bamboozle tries this one too.

kev, do you think they're really interested in the well being of kids, if that were the case they'd donate one weeks make-up budget to a million other much more worthwhile causes. So it's the attention seeking, that's what this is about, and they're prepared to use innocent kids to do that. It's despicable, and that goes for No1, soothfast and zahlooney bamboozle.
Who hasn't checked out the odd drag bar here or there, some seedy back street in Phnom Penh or Manila, no big deal, didn't see any kids strollers there, but did notice the nasty smell.

Not laughable, more sad and disappointing.
@jj-adams saidI just love it when the right equates vastly different things, as if they had NO idea how the world works.

@averagejoe1 saidHow about "As vastly different as people can be, they are all still people."
Here, Kev, subonsciously I assume, is suggesting that we teach our children to loooooovve these people? Does Kev know what he is saying? I mean, which of the lessons shall they learn??

@no1marauder saidNot getting enough attention with your NAMBLA membership?
I trust parents more than the State to decide what is best for their kids.
That you don't disqualifies you from any claim of being a libertarian.

I'll wait while you look it up, since you obviously don't know, despite your claims you base your morals on Christianity.

"We don't dress as wolves or trees or whatever in our day to day lives. These fukers just don't like drag queens, pure and simple."

That is not true. I have never had a problem with drag queens, and it is because these particular drag queens are paedophiles
and are actuall ...[text shortened]... ed to strip their clothing off in front of 4 y/o toddlers so that they can get their sexual jollies.
I imagine that male pedophiles more often wear suits and ties than women's clothing. And they are not nearly as likely to be gay.
Everything's gotta be a horror show with you people, but you still haven't realized that the true horror show are the people making up reasons to discriminate against these people.
