In countries like your UK where there are less than 70 million total an influx of 20 or 30 million would be a HUGE percentage increase in your population but here in the US even 30 million extra would be only about a ten % increase in population.
And in countries like China with a billion plus that would be a drop in the bucket.
I SAW London a few years ago and there were not that many actual brits there, mainly Middle Easterners. I don't imagine that went over well with the native population.

I think the phrase 'Brother's keeper' suggests that if we find a (singular) person in need that we should of course employ our Christian beliefs in helping him/her, give them fish, and get them on their feet to fish for themselves, to become self reliant.
We all do that. But, you seem to be toying with extrapolating that concept into one country of citizens 'keeping' the citizens of another country? Am I close?
