Haven't hooked it up yet. If you go over your limit, they'll crucify you. Also, you probably won't have broadband on nights like New Years Eve, ie: it uses the same network as three mobiles.

Such operators deal with the line rental so I didn't pay anything extra to France Telecom. Are there any such operators in England?

BT are a bitch to get in touch with too! A few months ago I phoned them, on numerous occasions only to be batted around various departments. After numerous 30 minute, fruitless phone calls, I gave up. I treid again after a couple of months. Eventually they had put me through to the correct department.
I was asked "can you be at home from 8am until 9am on the 9th July Sir?"
"Yeah that's my only day off dude. I'll be in. It'll be worth it!"
I waited.
No Fricker showed.
I watched Watch dog a couple of weeks ago. There was some lady reiterating this exact story about BT. So I think that this is general practice by them.
