I was at work, and a security guard told us that a plane had crashed into the twin towers. I remember asking "was it an accident", and she said "Don't think so, there's a second one".

I went home to see people jumping out the buildings before they went down....Nobody can forget an image like that.

Are you refering to other people, from other nations, pissing on America's wounds or the fact that i made a very sarcastic comment about Princess Die to show the hypocrisy of the American haters, Not just the Brits.

I was on my way to work when the first plane hit - I didin't know it because on that day I wasn't listening to the radio in the car.

Someone told me when I got to work.

At that time I was working telephone support. On other days people would call and act like their problem with our software was the worst problem ever - not on that day. On that day it felt bad even asking people how things were going out of small talk.

The only Brit in this conversation is me, and i have in no way insulted the memory of 9/11.

You my friend are a fool.

I was not referring to anyone specifically.

I don't think I read that post where you made that sarcastic remark actually.

9/11 was pretty unique like that, how many times have you been able to watch a disaster like that live on tv?

i bet it affected a lot of people.
