I levelled off at 250 lbs. I'm 6 foot with a fairly heavy frame. The skinniest I've been was when I was 150 lbs. In both cases these were equilibrium weights which depended on my lifestyle. In the first case I was living alone on minimum wage, the latter staying with my parents who are quite generous and stock lots of food. Plus until recently I spent a lot of time sitting on my butt as I was unemployed. Maybe now that I'm working some of it will come off. I don't know, nor do I worry about it. I'm more concerned about becoming fiscally stable on my own.

Nope. I am still like you were before you started eating food. 60 foot tall and 6 Kg. Or was that the other way around.
On a serious note though. It all depends on what exercise you get too. If you are just eating lots of calories and not burning them off, then of course, you will become a fat bast@rdo.
You have either put weight on from an increase in muscle or fat (well a bit of both really). I
I think it is a mater of putting a bit of muscle on, and then burning off the excess cals.

Edit: You should cut down on your porklife, mate, get some exercise!

I am about the same height as you, and for the moment about the same weight; I suggest that you try to at least curb your weight increase so you end up weighing no more than say 87Kg - once you steady yourself at this weight, you could then aim for your ideal weight.

6 feet 168 is still a bit thin, unless it's all fat. Start exercising. I'm 6' tall and weigh 200 pounds, but it's mostly muscle from years of weight lifting. I see other men my age (55) and height that weigh the same and they look like big fat balloon faced sacks of lard covered suet. Take a look at AThousandYoung's picture and you'll see what I mean. He's a young man, but looks like a carnival freak. Probably couldn't walk a hundred yards without gasping for air and sweating like a pig. Oink oink.

I am not sure what I am in metics. 😕
I cleaned up my life once, and I weighed in at 350 lbs.
I am about 6 foot 5, but I was still too fat.
I am now about 260 and look and feel good, while still being too fat. 😞

Most people's cranium is heavier than that.

Bike riding dude. Stop whining about how big you are and do something about it. I ride a bike to work. I do about 6 miles a day. This burns off any flab that I may put on. I can eat what I blooming like (within reason). This also saves me £15 per week on transprt costs.
It's a good incentive to exercise dude. 😀

at around 25 your metabolism will start to slow down. if you don't decrease your calorie intake or increase exercise, you will gain weight.

I now eat about half the calories I did as a teenager, and I'm holding about the same weight. 185 cm / 70 kg. if you won't decrease intake or burn more, your weight will rise until it hits a new equilibrium (where intakeCal = metabolismCal + exerciseCal). where the new level is, depends on you. for some their natural metabolism is higher that for others, but you'll have to deal with what you've got.

it's far easier to control your weight in time, than try to lose it after you gained it. and with every year you get older, losing weight becomes harder and harder.
