I have had to delete the Open Invites as two anonymous cowards accepted my open invites. Despite them coming from the USA they cannot read. I might consider exempting people who cannot speak English.

I had to put one "offender" who re-accepted my open invite on my ignore list even after my warning PM that he did not qualify.

15 wins by timeout out of 50 wins. A whopping 30%. 😞

You should start another thread in Only Chess...

"How to get to 1800+ in Correspondence Chess
Start games with time controls 1/0. Figure out when your opponent generally makes his moves. Move just after he logs off. Wait for a day where he is a little late logging in. Time out."

You know I've got one or two PM's because of this post. If only those dudes took the effort to post in the forums.

What an amazing claim from a one-week old account. I have the right to not play any anonymous cowards or anonymous heros in favour of the forum posters. Why do you think they are called anonymous cowards at slashdot?

Yes who are these people who "join a chess site...and never post in the forum"? I have a hunch though, I think they maybe people who want to play chess because they enjoy the game, they are probably the people who like to chat on a one to one basis when playing the game. They are also probably the people who do not like to post in the forum for fear of being either ridiculed or persecuted by the likes of small minded idiots like yourself who have nothing better to do than insult and abuse people in a forum. They are the 'silent majority' who make up this chess site and without these anonymous cowards I doubt there would be enough players to have such varied and interesting games. My reckoning is that without these 'cowards' you would get bored of playing the same people week in week out.

Another point is the term coward, (a person who lacks courage), I do not believe that anybody has the right to call someone else a coward because they do not post in an online forum, this does not mean that they do not lack courage, but probably have better things to do with their time.

Maybe you should climb down from that high horse of yours and THINK again about the reason you joined this site in the first place, was it to post in forums (there are many sites dedicated to this on the net without the element of playing chess) or was it to actually play chess?

I know I am going to receive a barrage of abuse for this post from you and many of the regular 'posters' here, but I feel as though I should stand up for all those anonymous cowards out there.
