Question: What is amu? I'm just not familiar with that. Is it the same as g/mol?


There's 2 possible answers to your question. Either he thinks Americans are too f---ing stupid to know the formula for phosphoric acid (which is most likely), or he was making a social comment on the prevalence of soft drinks (primarily colas) in America, which contain phosphoric acid.
