Starting this risk game on my blog. Maybe I can learn something, pictures kind of hard to see though:

Learn from you other great players. Trevor any hints? I must have helped you chess wise right? I rememeber seeing you name in the threads.
i've kept looking at the board for a couple of mins every couple of hours for a couple of days against 1800+ players, think i'm making a move that i've got them covered then they do something i didn't see, that rarely happens in a risk game. (never spend longer than a minute looking at a risk game)
yeah i'll give you some tips, when you've got a game free we'll start a doubles game together and i'll go through with you what moves to play. it might take i while though as both of us would have to see the board before we take our moves so we can talk trough why we're making this move and not another.
what do you think?

Sequential, adjacent, and escalating or each flat rate.
My first turn in game 5 and I wasted probably 10 armies, it was horrible.
I had 6 vs 3 lost all 6 then I just had to get my card so I used the other 3 to go 3 vs 3 lost them, then another 3 vs 3.
It was S. America, I had 3 countries and opponent had brazil.
I didn't get my card and then I remembered what you said, 6 vs 3 isn't great and who cares about the first card.
Originally posted by RahimKyeah the amount of times that happens it just isn't worth it attacking 6 on 3 that early, sometimes later in the game you have to attack without the odds but thats only when you're taking someone out, or taking their region.

that starting position was so good though your opponent wasn't going to waste any troops when you had 12 in s. america.
i like sequential, unlimited and flat rate or no cards. escalating games has screwed me to many times, your opponent takes out some crap player gets his cards and runs of the game that you where winning to start with, really annoying. flat rate cards have there down sides to though, big gap between 4 and 10.
theres a double tournament, they're calling it a pro am, do you want to play with me in it?
heres the link so you can see whats it about.

Originally posted by RahimKI have that, but it's a little annoying because it also notifies me of games that I'm no longer a part of because I lost in them. I also check frequently. I have some idea how many people are ahead of me, and which games look like people are actually around and taking their turns.
Do you guys have some sort of notification set so when it's your turn you know instantly?
Sometimes I am playing and the people show up right then, freestyle and beat me to the punch and I keep thinking they are online 24/7 and nothing better to do?
What is that RFF feedbar or whatever it's called?

I'd like to but like Rhp, I am a non-sub there. I just joined Jan 8 so I have only completed 4 games. 3-1 so far. So it's not possible to team up.

Originally posted by RahimKthey want you to have played less that 100 games, be a non sub and have a rating less than 1600 because i've got all those. what do you think? i know i'll have to wait for you to have an open slot each round but so will everyone else.
I c.
