Just after you left we all left as well.

We went full blast into flying, Got all our ratings and Flight instructor ratings for Multi and single engine airplanes - however we did it in 3 months and have been happily playing chess for the last month wondering when the hell you were going to pass and come back to teh site.

You can actually do that in Thailand! Hire a military vehicle and explosives and go and shoot the crp out of cows with missiles in a set farm which specialises in this. It's cheap too! However, I couldn't do it.

FAR (Federal Aviation Regulations) part 61 says that you need to be a flight instructor at least 24 months before you can become a flight instructor for instructors.

So I gotcha 😛
