That first child took my life from monochrome to color--- instantly. With each addition, instead of having less love to go around, my capacity has been expanded exponentially. While fairly well-off financially-speaking, the greatest of my life's riches lies within the bosom of my children.
The things I fear in life are reduced to vapor, in service to them.
They remind you of the child you once were, and the man you promised that child you would become.

Having my daughter is, without a doubt, the best thing that's ever happened to me. If your marriage is solid, then I'd highly recommend it.

Just don't look at my profile pic. and get your hopes up too much. Naturally it's highly unlikely that your kids will be as cute as mine! 😏

Nice opening. I'll try it in my next game.

I say go for it mate. Kids are the best things that can ever happen. I don't have any of my own yet, but I am planning it too. When I see my nephews and niece I get so jealous of my brother and sisters. If I was a Christian I would have been a Godfather to my best mate's son. With one smile he manages to wipe out all the worries from my mind.
Go for it mate, and make sure you get them a brother or a sister. Mine have been the best of mates since day one.
All the best whichever way you decide. Just keep one thought in mind though, if you don't do it, you will always wonder what it would have been like to be a father.
No pressure. 😉

One look at any of your recent avatars, and everyone knows this is crap.
Why don't you just come out of the closet, Fred? Can't find the knob?
Edit:
Go for it. The biggest adjustment is the amount of freetime you have but it's all worth it. I have my 10 month old daughter in "swimming lessons" and there is nothing like seeing how excited she gets when the rubber duckies come out =)

If he wants to be a dancer, I'll try to talk him out of it... but in the end it will be his decision.
Getting up at 5:30 on a Saturday or Sunday stinks... but when he's looking up with a big smile ready for the new day I just have to smile also knowing I may be able to sneak a nap in later in the day.

If I were you I would enjoy a last summer of childfree living....
You wont regret it.
