I have been there a few times working. Houston and Corpus Christi mainly. Liked it but didn't have a car.
That put me at a big disadvantage.

I lived in Galveston for a while as a child and didn’t like it. Those area’s for me are nice to visit sometimes but not live. I think this part of Texas is much prettier and nicer overall.
