I'd rather say a forum is like a radio or TV channel. You are broadcasting on the wrong channel. The Sports Forum is there for a reason. People who are interested in sports will see your post there, people who aren't don't need it. True, it's no big deal if it's just one post, but if everybody would start to cross-post, we could just as well close the Sports forum again.

Demanding a better product than that being produced. Sure, there are plenty of fine young men representing the sport they make a living in.
