boycotting nike or the nfl because of vick's dogfighting is way after the fact.
usually people don't support nike because of the tremendous human rights violations and injustices suffered by thousands working in their sweatshops. boycotting for michael vick? not really a sound philosophy.

I'd rather say a forum is like a radio or TV channel. You are broadcasting on the wrong channel. The Sports Forum is there for a reason. People who are interested in sports will see your post there, people who aren't don't need it. True, it's no big deal if it's just one post, but if everybody would start to cross-post, we could just as well close the Sports forum again.
