If there's one thing good to say about Hugh Grant, it is that he at least has not been enough of a boring, imaginationless hack to play that worst of script-killers, Wolverine.

And as a result, he's much, much higher on the Boring scale. YAWN.

Wolverine don't need no stinkin' script, man.

Dreamy though he may be, I prefer another Hugh, Hugh Jackman.

Big points for being Australian over being British. 😀
Considering 99% of his family are English, that's quite the comment ...

It seems here that we have the difference between a Hugh Jackman and a Huge Jackoff. 😕

I didn't say that was a great film, just imagining Hugh Grant as the wolverine makes me giggle.

(As his claws come out) "Pardon me sir, is this the way to Nodding hill? I have a dreadful feeling something awful is about to happen and they need my immediate assistance".......
I must admit, that would seriously improve Wolverine. Not sure that it would do anything for Grant, but it would improve The Only X-Man Given Acknowledgement.

Is Hugh Grant considered hardcore British?
He plays the part of the Oxbridge educated upper-middle-class fool very well. I think he is a fine comedy actor (perhaps as good as Cary Grant).

But I wouldn't want anyone from outside UK to think that he represented anyone!!

I disagree, he plays the part of a middling prep and liberal public school educated old boy...representative of someone 'given' to attending the likes of Bedales in Hampshire comes to mind...it's where he acquired his 'nocturnal habits' don;t you know 😉

Poor chap. I doubt he deserves the animosity on here.

One thing, I saw an interview where he seems to have brought out the cell phone abuses by the brit tabloids. Kudos for that at least.
