And since we're on the subject, let me give some advice:
Never take drugs (including alcohol!!) alone until you know what you are doing.
Never take any drug more than 2x a week.
Stick to recommended dosis. (read up on what the effects are and how to use them).
Don't mix drugs. (unless you want to phone Starrman late at night)
Don't use hallucinag ...[text shortened]... r LSD) until you're over 25.
Never use crack cocaine.
Never shoot (using a needle) heroin.
Kids - seriously - this is horrible advice.

Absolutely right.
But that's what I've been telling Ivanhoe for more than a year over on the Discussion forum.
That's why I didn't go into it here.
But you seem pretty much right in your diagnosis.
There are also some facts I really think should be pondered on:
[i/]"skunk weed" - a particularly potent variety of the drug, that's between 1 e over 25.
Never use crack cocaine.
Never shoot (using a needle) heroin.
Originally posted by ivanhoeThat is terrible! I feel for him and his family. I have an old school friend who also suffered a similar fate. He was sectioned, is on medication and has SERIOUS depression. He smoked cannibis when it was Class B, as i did. I also have three convictions relating to cannibis, have lost over 24 hours of my life sitting in a cell because of it';s classification, and can no longer work in any job that requires a security clearance 'because i'm a criminal'. People will smoke dope regardless of what the Law says about it. Having it classified as Class C means that people like me who have experimented in their youth and have been lucky enough NOT to suffer long term Mental health issues, can go on and lead normal lives, UNlike me. How many people under the age of 25 have a conviction for minor drugs offenses? You might want to look it up and consider if it's really worth criminalising entire generations "just so we don't send out the wrong message".

The government's decision that cannabis should remain a Class C drug came as it accepted it could trigger serious mental illness. Here, one father tells the traumatic story of how cannabis turned his bright and promising teenage son into a wreck.
My son James was always a popular teenager. H ...[text shortened]... rmless.

first of all, Ivanhoe, why do you care? are you just pulling quotes off the internet in order to hear people talk about them? What do YOU think?
second of all "The evidence that it produces dependence is beyond dispute" is not beyond dispute. In fact, it has been disputed scientifically and by the experience of millions around the world. Anything ...[text shortened]... om using marijuana with scare tatic propaganda? what is your stake in this?
Because I have seen and witnessed serious long term mental health problems because of regular cannabis use. I do not wish young people to throw away their health and their lives, because they believed the big lie that cannabis use is innocent. It is not. It can be devastating to your health and life on all levels.
People who are playing down the serious health risks attached to cannabis use should realise their responsibilities towards young people. Young people should be told the truth about the drug cannabis and should not be told the lies from the sixties.
Originally posted by ivanhoeI agree that young people should be told the truth about weed. This does not mean they should be told horrific anecdotes that may or may not have any scientific validity.

ive been smoking weed since i was 14 and its never done me any harm. i swear to god it actually assists in creative thinking. the only time ive ever had hallucinations or paranoia attacks were when i was actually stoned, and some of them were REALLY COOL. Ive never had any problems afterwards the answer to this issue is simple: if it works for you, do it. if not, leave it be.

Originally posted by Sicilian SmaugAre you serious? I don't know anything about crack personally, but it's one of the two drugs (the other being heroin) that I hear are really bad news.
Thats being very discriminating against the crack selling community. Its an ok drug as long as you take it just after a drink with a few freinds, you can have hours of fun looking for little white specks on the table when its all finished 😕. But agree with the needle part.

yes, but i am no fiend, just take about once every couple of months and never felt the need to take more often. unfortunately its taken england by strom, the last few years and when youve had a few drinks and its available at someones house its hard to pass up. Sad its seems to be in a few too many peoples houses more and more in little towns like Wycombe.
